CSA

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA members get a box each week for a period of time of products from our farm – produce, bread, eggs, etc. By buying a share in our CSA, you are buying into the bounty and risk of specialty crop farming. When conditions are good and we have excess bounty, our CSA shareholders are the first to reap the benefit. On the flip side – if conditions fall short, and we have a week or more when our production is not as expected, we rely on the income and support from our CSA shareholders to continue farming – even when we can’t produce as expected. CSA shareholders are truly partners in our farm!

In a good week, each CSA share will include a dozen eggs from our farm or from neighboring farm Graze the Prairie, one loaf of bread (either sourdough, wheat bread, or rustic bread), and in-season veggies each week for $22 a week. On weeks when veggie production falls short, we will supplement your share with canned goods such as pickles, pasta sauce, jam, or new products we are testing out!

The contents of your CSA box will change with the season and will include a variety of farm favorites, such as greens of all kinds, carrots, new potatoes, summer squash, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and so much more.
